Proverbs 12:1

Sometimes we believe that our ways are better, that how we think is the way to do things; but if we haven’t been taught in wisdom or through His knowledge, then our most possible outcome won’t be right. We can continue looking to make it with our own strength or by our capacities. If we only knew that our Father’s wisdom is abundant and is available for us if we ask for it, then we could see good fruit. Until we get to know real wisdom (His) and see the difference in our lives, we won’t love it or want it the way it should. I spent 8 years trying to do things my way, how I thought that things needed to work. This only took me into failures and deceptions, not being wise draw me into very wrong mistakes. His grace and love found me, Jesus showed me that He is the way. I didn’t like to be corrected, I thought that I was smart enough to know what was better. My life wasn’t for Him, it was only seeking my own sake. Now I know that my ways are not His, He has something greater and better for my life than what I could ever expected. 

Looking for instruction is way better be told what to do than to be trying ourselves, we in that way can also learn from others. It has been hard receiving instruction in certain aspects of my life, but having leaders in Ignite has helped more to understand God’s will for my life.

Application:

Changed my attitude towards the instructions that I have been failing.

1 Corinthians 9:22

What another demonstration of love to our neighbors or to people than to be emphatic with their lives and share with them the gospel? Knowing that God called me to be a disciple and to share the gospel to people has opened my eyes. His calling qualifies me, even though I feel like I am not ready or don’t have enough love for others, I have stopped trying and just letting Him work in me and through me.  Being honest, it is hard for me to be open to all people I face or get to know, but it is even harder when it is people that I know or are my friends. I believe this happens because of my lack of faith in Him. Now that I am in a real relationship with Him, my love and passion has been growing. My heart opens more and more every new time we get to do outreaches or share the gospel.  I can’t love people with my heart, but I can love them with His love. In my strength is hard to lay down and try to talk to everyone, but His faithfulness and passion for them is what makes me move. N

Hebrews 11:1

It seems that for all our lives and during every phase, we humans actually keep on wishing, wanting, and expecting  for something to happen or to come up to. Most of us will be influenced by the circumstances in our lives and the words of other people. It seems that we are constantly under pressure and bombarded with things that we don’t  even expect; like if we would become the person that the circumstances are dictating or what other people  are saying. Our expectations of life and the desires or hopes of our heart are biased to the wrong way.  Hebrews helps us define what faith really is, if we pay close attention. It is faith that is what holds all of these points, letting  us know what really is going wrong is our faith’s direction. We have the steering wheel of our own faith, it is us who  decide where we want it to be anchored or to whom or what we rely it on.  During my life I have been always a dreamer, having life goals, and constantly looking towards the

Luke 21:19

While I was thinking of standing still, a soldier was illustrated in my mind. When a superior calls a soldier to stand still, the soldier must leave whatever he is doing and come up firming his body. Then he has an attitude of listener, because the superior surely has something important to say. After the superior finishes his command, the soldier must wait until he has permitted to “relax”.  We can take certain points out of this illustration. The soldier has attitudes of obedience, service, and discipline. Jesus is our chief in command and we are his soldiers, we have to fight for souls. As any soldier, we need to look sharp and in shape. Otherwise we are going to die. We shall seek Jesus daily to know him more and delight ourselves in Him; so that our faces can reflect Him. Our ears need to be sensible to His voice, in a battle of so much noise and action, confusing a command from a different source will have terrible consequences. Our most important weapon is His word, sharper
