Philippians 3:9

There is nothing I could ever do in this world that would made me just or righteous. My sin and iniquity made me worth an eternal death, but His love gave me salvation and eternal life upon the cross. The price for salvation is too high that it can only be received free. Freely given by Jesus, He only requires from us faith and repentance. He has another gift from this, it is His grace. 

God doesn’t sees me anymore as a sinner, but as His son through Jesus. It is only with Jesus that I can reach my Father God. His blood erases my judgment and makes me to be able to have a relationship. It doesn’t mean that I won’t fail and sin through times, it happens every day and it is not sin what matters; but what we do after we sin, does. His sacrifice on the cross is not only for my past sins, but also for the ones I am going to make in the future. His blood never rans out, His forgiveness never expires. 

I need to understand that I am going to fail, but in all times He is going to be next to me to lift me up. He is a father that loves and cares for me all the time. If I have faith in that He doesn’t condemns, I can always find mercy in His arms. As in a relationship, getting closer to Him will make me move to don’t want to hurt Him. But as soon as I fail or if there is something that takes out my peace, I can surrendered it into Him and ask Him to clean my heart and to fill my life with His HS. These days I humble my life and mind to always think about what I am doing and if I sin, try to lift it into His hands right away to make me clean.

Application:

Ask for cleansing each night.

What another demonstration of love to our neighbors or to people than to be emphatic with their lives and share with them the gospel? Knowing that God called me to be a disciple and to share the gospel to people has opened my eyes. His calling qualifies me, even though I feel like I am not ready or don’t have enough love for others, I have stopped trying and just letting Him work in me and through me.  Being honest, it is hard for me to be open to all people I face or get to know, but it is even harder when it is people that I know or are my friends. I believe this happens because of my lack of faith in Him. Now that I am in a real relationship with Him, my love and passion has been growing. My heart opens more and more every new time we get to do outreaches or share the gospel.  I can’t love people with my heart, but I can love them with His love. In my strength is hard to lay down and try to talk to everyone, but His faithfulness and passion for them is what makes me move. N

Hebrews 11:1

It seems that for all our lives and during every phase, we humans actually keep on wishing, wanting, and expecting  for something to happen or to come up to. Most of us will be influenced by the circumstances in our lives and the words of other people. It seems that we are constantly under pressure and bombarded with things that we don’t  even expect; like if we would become the person that the circumstances are dictating or what other people  are saying. Our expectations of life and the desires or hopes of our heart are biased to the wrong way.  Hebrews helps us define what faith really is, if we pay close attention. It is faith that is what holds all of these points, letting  us know what really is going wrong is our faith’s direction. We have the steering wheel of our own faith, it is us who  decide where we want it to be anchored or to whom or what we rely it on.  During my life I have been always a dreamer, having life goals, and constantly looking towards the

Luke 21:19

While I was thinking of standing still, a soldier was illustrated in my mind. When a superior calls a soldier to stand still, the soldier must leave whatever he is doing and come up firming his body. Then he has an attitude of listener, because the superior surely has something important to say. After the superior finishes his command, the soldier must wait until he has permitted to “relax”.  We can take certain points out of this illustration. The soldier has attitudes of obedience, service, and discipline. Jesus is our chief in command and we are his soldiers, we have to fight for souls. As any soldier, we need to look sharp and in shape. Otherwise we are going to die. We shall seek Jesus daily to know him more and delight ourselves in Him; so that our faces can reflect Him. Our ears need to be sensible to His voice, in a battle of so much noise and action, confusing a command from a different source will have terrible consequences. Our most important weapon is His word, sharper
