Hebrews 6:12

Being lazy is a common denominator between people. Comfort zones is equal to: no risk, no fear, no faith, etc. We can always find laziness in comfort zones; there is no strive for something more, no hunger for something new, and no desire to accomplish new dreams. Lazy minds draw an imaginary line that limits actions. Actions that would take someone out of their satisfaction. It seems that most of the people are swept into monotonous lives, were they have stopped living and just continue each day surviving.

We have one call in God’s kingdom, and that is: to make disciples. We need to be careful to not fall into comfort zones. We don’t stop when we have reached certain number of challenges, or when we obtain something we wanted. That imaginary line should be erased of our minds. In His kingdom there is always work to do, but we need to be in Him to know what is next.

As we fix our eyes in what is eternal and not what is from this earth, we are going to start living with no fear and more confident that everything shall pass away. There won’t be any checkpoint, just heaven. Let it be the eternal things and love for others what move us to keep working in His will. There are transit signals and other cars on roads, drivers must pay attention on both of these. We need to pay attention in our life race as well. Who are we looking at in our lives? For sure God places people in our way so that we can learn and hear from them, but He also has these people in His word. People like Abraham, he was promised a son and multitudes of descendants. Abraham waited and didn’t fell in despair.

We have the ultimate promise of eternal life, but there would also be promises in this earth from God to our lives. Promises that without faith and patience can’t be obtained.  I can find myself as a lazy person in certain areas of my life; have had several goals but I have stopped in the middle of the way. I am tired of not accomplishing things; but most tired of not following Jesus in the right way. Now I read his word and have a daily relationship with Jesus, so that I can be encouraged to take leaps of faith ever day and be able to have in my hands what He has promised.

Application:

Wake up at 5:30 am every day, talk to Jesus about strive and courage.
