James 3:13-17

We need to meditate in ourselves: searching for our daily actions. What conduct have we been having lately? James invites us to demonstrate the wisdom we have. Therefore, I believe all that we do has the DNA of our wisdom. It is said that what we do is whom we are, wisdom will help us to be that person that God wants for us. If we start to see that we are not even close to be humble, we then need to be careful, since two types of wisdom exist. Heavenly and earthly wisdom, there is no reason that if we are acting with rivalry and malevoly for us to say we have a heavenly wisdom. There is no worse blind, than the one who don’t wants to see. Cheating on us will only lead us to unsatisfaction and failing. Humans in flesh will always want to show off what they are made of, wisdom is one of those. We usually like the idea that we are better than other people, just for our own satisfaction. But I don’t see better satisfaction than doing my Fathers will and letting Him lead my life with wisdom. That wisdom that makes us think in our actions before we perform them, the one that proofreads our mind, and after all takes us into the prudent path. Thinking in the characteristics of a heavenly wisdom, it is made so that we can love each other and do good to all of us. Demands qualities in us, but all of them will help us to be more open hearted, for sharing, for loving, to be generous, and for walking in a steady and genuine way. Who else will discern better our ways than the holy spirit? Our flesh is dead, we now live by the spirit. Let us ask to our heavenly father for the heavenly wisdom.

What another demonstration of love to our neighbors or to people than to be emphatic with their lives and share with them the gospel? Knowing that God called me to be a disciple and to share the gospel to people has opened my eyes. His calling qualifies me, even though I feel like I am not ready or don’t have enough love for others, I have stopped trying and just letting Him work in me and through me.  Being honest, it is hard for me to be open to all people I face or get to know, but it is even harder when it is people that I know or are my friends. I believe this happens because of my lack of faith in Him. Now that I am in a real relationship with Him, my love and passion has been growing. My heart opens more and more every new time we get to do outreaches or share the gospel.  I can’t love people with my heart, but I can love them with His love. In my strength is hard to lay down and try to talk to everyone, but His faithfulness and passion for them is what makes me move. N

Hebrews 11:1

It seems that for all our lives and during every phase, we humans actually keep on wishing, wanting, and expecting  for something to happen or to come up to. Most of us will be influenced by the circumstances in our lives and the words of other people. It seems that we are constantly under pressure and bombarded with things that we don’t  even expect; like if we would become the person that the circumstances are dictating or what other people  are saying. Our expectations of life and the desires or hopes of our heart are biased to the wrong way.  Hebrews helps us define what faith really is, if we pay close attention. It is faith that is what holds all of these points, letting  us know what really is going wrong is our faith’s direction. We have the steering wheel of our own faith, it is us who  decide where we want it to be anchored or to whom or what we rely it on.  During my life I have been always a dreamer, having life goals, and constantly looking towards the

Luke 21:19

While I was thinking of standing still, a soldier was illustrated in my mind. When a superior calls a soldier to stand still, the soldier must leave whatever he is doing and come up firming his body. Then he has an attitude of listener, because the superior surely has something important to say. After the superior finishes his command, the soldier must wait until he has permitted to “relax”.  We can take certain points out of this illustration. The soldier has attitudes of obedience, service, and discipline. Jesus is our chief in command and we are his soldiers, we have to fight for souls. As any soldier, we need to look sharp and in shape. Otherwise we are going to die. We shall seek Jesus daily to know him more and delight ourselves in Him; so that our faces can reflect Him. Our ears need to be sensible to His voice, in a battle of so much noise and action, confusing a command from a different source will have terrible consequences.
